Shea Stadium is a American ballpark in New York City. It is the longtime home of the New York Mets Major League Baseball club, and one of the oldest ballparks in the National League, serving as the Mets home since 1964. Shea is currently in its 45th and final season. The last regular season baseball game is scheduled to be played on Sunday, September 28, 2008. In 2009, Shea will be replaced by Citi Field, which is currently under construction in the parking lot behind Shea's left field. After the completion of Citi Field, Shea Stadium will be dismantled.
Partnered with S & S Seating, Archer Seating will begin work on Shea Stadium soon after the completion of Citi Field. As soon as seats are available they will be added to the online store.
Texas Stadium is a football stadium in Irving, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. It is the home field of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, and has a seating capacity of 65,675. The stadium opened on October 24, 1971, at a cost of $35 million.
The Cowboys will leave Texas Stadium after the 2008 NFL season for a new, as-yet-unnamed stadium; the estimated cost of this new stadium is up to $1 billion.
Partnered with S & S Seating, Archer Seating will begin work on Texas Stadium soon after the end of the 2008 season. As soon as seats are available they will be added to the online store.
Fenway Park is the home ballpark of the Boston Red Sox baseball club. The park, the oldest of all current Major League Baseball stadiums, opened in 1912. The name Fenway Park comes from the stadium being located in the Fenway district of Boston. Because of its age and constrained location in an urban neighborhood, the park has some unique features, most notably the famous Green Monster in left field.
Partnered with S & S Seating, Archer Seating will begin renovations on certain sections of the stadium. Any seats that become available will be added to the online store for purchase.
A new stadium for the Yankees is currently under construction on part of the former site of Macombs Dam Park. The new stadium's design is to incorporate the design of Yankee Stadium from its original 1923 exterior as well as from the 1970s renovation. The new stadium is expected to cost $1.3-billion, and will be 63-percent bigger than the current one; however, capacity will be down slightly, to 53,000 from 56,000. The address will still be the same (161st Street and River Avenue), the seats will be the same color as in the current stadium (blue), and the dimensions of the field will be exactly the same.
As for the current stadium, the above-ground portion is to be completely demolished; while the existing clubhouses, which are underground, will remain in use for replacement park facilities.
Following the end of the 2008 season, Archer Seating and S & S Seating will begin extraction and sales of Yankee Stadium Seats. Any seats that become available will be added to the online store for purchase.
